today is founder's day, so no lessons today... but got this stupid thing called hwa chong idol and it's compulsory for all j1s to attend... my very first reaction when i first got notice of this event: wth, another of such stupid events!

i'm already very sick and tired of audience-decides-the-winner competitions... with star idol, superhost, campus superstar coming to an end, i thought that everything is going to be over... then there's superband, hwa chong idol in school and project superstar 2006 coming up in june (i suppose, coz last year's auditions were held in june)...

i went to school, entered the auditorium, looked at the programme paper + voting slip, listened to largely-crappy performances, and i was utterly disappointed with the standard... only 2 out of the 8 can really sing... 1st was meiling from apollo a15, primary school classmate... didn't know that she can sing quite well, maybe can go try singapore idol... 2nd was yong liang, from athena, j2, who eventually won the competition... (according to danqing, coz i left early coz i dun want to rot and get my ear to commit suicide during the announcement of the results) the rest of the contestants can 直接 go and die lorz, sing like fXXXks, seriously bad for health...

haix... so many of this kind of crap, tv getting boring, school also getting boring... geog test on thurs and maths test on mon... sighz...
